Washingtone specialises in abstract stone sculptures, working in Opal Stone, Verdite and Springstone. He loves to create pieces exploring traditional values and lifestyle.

Washingtone uses Opal Stone “A beautiful light greenish serpentine”. Opal stone is famous for it’s milky light coloured greens and smooth texture. It is also unique in that it has fewer colour variations than Serpentine.

Using Opal Stone challenges the artists talents and skills, to create pieces that embody beauty and feeling whilst preserving the natural colours and contours of the stone.

Sadly Zhuwao passed away in 2006 after a short illness.
