Big elephant on base
The elephant is one of the most impressive animals on earth.
The long trunk is capable of powerful twisting and coiling movements used for tearing down trees and foraging. Tusks grow for most of an elephant's lifetime and are an indicator of age.
Elephants are very social, frequently touching and caressing one another and entwining their trunks.

Ironwood is a beautiful very hard brown wood. It is only found in Southern Africa and some parts of South Africa in Kruger National Park. Long ago Ironwood was used for railway sleepers because of its durability thus when talented artists understood it and started working with it.
